Interested in becoming an Altar Server?
A training class will be
held on Saturday morning,
September 18th in
the main church from 9:00
a.m - 10:30 for any student
interested in becoming an
altar server. The student
must have made the First
Communion and be a
member of Saint Thomas
More parish.
The class includes Altar
Servers for English, Spanish
and Vietnamese Masses.
It is recommended that
any servers currently
serving 1½ years or
less attend this training.
Our STM Youth Group, “Generation
JC”, did a great job serving at
the Sr. Glenda event. We ran a pizza
and a burrito stand, helped out
with drinks and other chores. We
really enjoyed celebrating with the
Hispanic community and listening
to the wonderful music. Way to
go, youth! You really “represented”!
Our youth bible study starts
this Wednesday night, September
8th, 7:30pm-8:15pm in Faith Formation
Room 5. We will be contrasting
the media’s portrayal of
love to God’s definition of love as
found in 1 Corinthians 13. See you
there!
