Tillsonburg Shrine Club Stratford on Avon
Tillsonburg Shrine Club held their annual Fish Fry on
Wed. July 13th,with many hungry members, and guests
in attendance. We were proud to have 10 visitors arrive
on the Camel Coach, and help us get rid of some mighty
fine Perch. Pictured below are the visitors, and it is nice
to see visitation carrying over from Masonry, to the
Shrine.

Stratford on Avon Shrine Club Makes MRI Donation
On May 24 the Stratford on Avon Shrine Club donated
$20 000, over a 4 year time period, to the Stratford
General Hospital Foundation to aid in their purchase of
a MRI machine.
The cheque was turned over to Executive Director,
Andrea Page, of the SGH Foundation by Club President
James (Sandy) McTavish and Club Treasurer Bruce
Davis.
The Stratford on Avon Shrine Club completes several
activities yearly that contribute to their General Fund;
such as a Chicken Barbeque, Christmas Cakes, Pop Can
Collecting, Silent Auction, and 50/50 Draw Tickets.

Lucas Rosunlund, a student of North
Park Collegiate, who has a very rare
disease of the feet and hands, is shown
receiving a Four Thousand Dollar bursary
from the President of the Shriners
Club of Brantford, Ed Skokun and
Chairman of the Bursary Committee,
Jim Boyd.
Lucas will be taking an Honours Course
in English at the University of Guelph
and will enter either law, journalism or
teaching, he is also studying Arabic,
Mandarin and Punjabi.
His spare time is spent teaching English
as a second language to new citizens at
the YMCA. The Shriners wish him every
success for the future.
