Conditions: human causes of accidents (ie carelessness; improper behaviour<br />

and dress, lack of tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g, supervision and experience, fatigue, drug tak<strong>in</strong>g<br />

and dr<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g), environmental causes of accidents (ie unguarded or faulty<br />

mach<strong>in</strong>ery and tools, <strong>in</strong>adequate ventilation, untidy, dirty, overcrowded or<br />

badly-lit work places)<br />

1.2 Protective cloth<strong>in</strong>g and equipment suitable for given situations.<br />

Protective cloth<strong>in</strong>g and equipment: overalls, footwear, snood/cap, helmets,<br />

aprons, eye and face protection, ear defenders, dust masks, gloves, special<br />
