Volunteering on MPI-CAC committees allows me to stretch in so many ways. I am practicing valuable business
skills like project management and team empowerment and am making significant contributions within the
chapter through new committee endeavors. Most importantly, I am building more genuine and memorable
relationships with my fellow members.

Although I have not been a member of MPI-CAC for very long, I appreciate the many opportunities available for
members of all levels and interests.

The most valuable part of serving on a committee is the relationships I’ve made by being an engaged as an active
member of the chapter! I love MPI, so it’s important for me to be a part of the engine that drives our chapter
forward!

I am honored to have received this recognition. I consider volunteering a way to give back to an organization and
community like MPI that has given so much to me over my long, wonderful career. Getting involved—no matter
to what degree—can affect members both professionally and personally. I’ve met so many wonderful people
and friends over the years through MPI and the Chicago Area Chapter. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to
give my time to support them.

When you are able to volunteer your time doing something you are truly passionate about, it makes it so much
more gratifying. I enjoy reconnecting with former colleagues and meeting new members while helping them
along their journeys with MPI.
