Acupressure: Japanese Style,<br />

A Self-Help Class (Adults)<br />

This class will introduce you to <strong>the</strong><br />

beautiful art <strong>of</strong> Jin Shin Jyutsu®, an<br />

ancient Japanese form <strong>of</strong> gentle touch<br />

<strong>the</strong>rapy applied with <strong>the</strong> hands and fingertips<br />

in successive patterns on <strong>the</strong><br />

clo<strong>the</strong>d body. You will learn some simple<br />

self-help techniques to calm your<br />

nervous system and enhance your natural<br />

self-regulation energy flow. Learn<br />

how to alleviate discomforts <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> body<br />

such as headaches, anxiety, etc. by exploring<br />

<strong>the</strong> 26 “Safety Energy Looks.”<br />

and/or CPR in this class. Learn what<br />

to do when you encounter someone<br />

with sudden illness, s<strong>of</strong>t tissue injury,<br />

heat and cold related injuries. For CPR,<br />

you will learn <strong>the</strong> simple ABC (Airway,<br />

Breathing & Circulation) method while<br />

developing <strong>the</strong> confidence to administer<br />

CPR correctly. Mats will be provided<br />

for kneeling on <strong>the</strong> floor. Please indicate<br />

which training you need or if you need<br />
