Ph~ Alpha Theta, organized in 1948, is a national honorary<br />

society primarily for history majors. Qualifications for<br />

membership include having at least 12 semesters of history<br />

course work with a "B" average. Pictured are the officers.<br />

The German Club was formed to promote<br />

familiarity of members with Germanic<br />

culture, language, music, and art. Also, to<br />

encourage social exchange between Illterested<br />

students and faculty, monthly<br />

social evenings are planned and an annual<br />

Christmas dinner is held.<br />
