Three pass interceptions, sluggish line play, and<br />
fumbles enabled the Aztecs to seal their own defeat.<br />
However, in the first league game the Aztecs<br />
proved to be the Aztecs at the end of the previous<br />
season as they downed the Los Angeles <strong>State</strong><br />
Diablos 26-14. Outstanding moments of the game<br />
were a 70-yard pass interception return by Neil<br />
Petties and block-busting runs by Paul Sallinger<br />
