The meadows are only a few<br />
minutes’ walk from the city<br />
centre. The whole area was<br />
re-landscaped for the State<br />
Hesse Garden Show which<br />
was held in <strong>Fulda</strong> in 1994.<br />
In the <strong>Fulda</strong>-Aue there are<br />
plenty of opportunities for sport and leisure pursuits: cycling,<br />
canoeing, inline skating or even gliding. Simply take a leisurely<br />
stroll, visit the Fire Brigade Museum or the Environmental<br />
Centre (maybe enjoy a cool drink in the beer garden) or give<br />
your feet a novel sensation by walking on the “Barfußpfad”, the<br />
bare-foot path. In the summer months children love to splash<br />
around in the water playground.
