REMINDERS<br />
The procedure <strong>for</strong> setting and removing a reminder has already been<br />
detailed.<br />
Refer to Open TV Electronic Programme Guide page 15 or Open TV<br />
In<strong>for</strong>mation Bar page 17. At <strong>the</strong> right time a reminder message pops up. If<br />
you intend to watch <strong>the</strong> booked programme, press OK on <strong>the</strong> RCU which<br />
tunes <strong>the</strong> <strong>decode</strong>r to <strong>the</strong> new service. O<strong>the</strong>rwise press EXIT to remove <strong>the</strong><br />
message, while remaining tuned to <strong>the</strong> original service.<br />
PARENTAL BLOCKING<br />
Press <strong>the</strong> INFO button <strong>for</strong> more event in<strong>for</strong>mation<br />
Press OK to tune to (22)TNT<br />
Press EXIT to return to <strong>the</strong> setup screen<br />
When <strong>the</strong> user has selected a service where <strong>the</strong>re is a parentally blocked<br />
programme, a “key” symbol is displayed in <strong>the</strong> In<strong>for</strong>mation Bar (bottom right).<br />
The message above <strong>the</strong> In<strong>for</strong>mation Bar indicates that <strong>the</strong> user should press<br />
OK to unblock <strong>the</strong> programme.<br />
OPEN TV INFORMATION BAR<br />
At any time whilst watching TV services or listening to radio services, <strong>the</strong><br />
viewer can obtain in<strong>for</strong>mation about <strong>the</strong> current programme and<br />
select available programmes via <strong>the</strong> In<strong>for</strong>mation Bar.<br />
1 Press i on <strong>the</strong> RCU. The following window is displayed:<br />
2 Use <strong>the</strong> cursor keys > or ? to scroll up or down through titles<br />
on o<strong>the</strong>r services, whilst simultaneously watching <strong>the</strong> current<br />
service. The current programmes are listed when NOW is<br />
selected and <strong>the</strong> programmes to follow are listed when NEXT is<br />
highlighted.<br />
1 Press OK. A screen requiring <strong>the</strong> Parental PIN code is displayed.<br />
Pressing i with <strong>the</strong> In<strong>for</strong>mation Bar displayed, provides additional<br />
in<strong>for</strong>mation on <strong>the</strong> programme.<br />
The local time will also be displayed on <strong>the</strong> TV when <strong>the</strong><br />
In<strong>for</strong>mation Bar is displayed.<br />
3 Move between <strong>the</strong> NOW or NEXT programmes by pressing <<br />
or = on <strong>the</strong> RCU.<br />
4 With NEXT selected, an In<strong>for</strong>mation Bar appears that displays<br />
<strong>the</strong> next programme. Pressing OK sets <strong>the</strong> reminder and a clock<br />
symbol appears in <strong>the</strong> In<strong>for</strong>mation Box. Pressing OK again<br />
removes <strong>the</strong> reminder.<br />
NEXT programmes cannot be viewed be<strong>for</strong>e <strong>the</strong>ir start time.<br />
To exit <strong>the</strong> In<strong>for</strong>mation Box, press EXIT.<br />
5 When viewing a programme, to tune to ano<strong>the</strong>r programme press<br />
<strong>the</strong> numbered keys on <strong>the</strong> RCU. The In<strong>for</strong>mation Bar will be<br />
displayed <strong>for</strong> X seconds (see In<strong>for</strong>mation Box Display Period,<br />
page 20).<br />
2 Enter your Parental PIN code using <strong>the</strong> keypad. Refer to Parental<br />
Guidance Options page 19. The programme is <strong>the</strong>n unblocked.<br />
NOTE: The default PIN code is 1234.<br />
