ORIENTATION SEMINARS
Ori-'mntation a" Seminars are held each
rnom.th to introduce new people to the
available resources. Orientation is
a merequisite to takin~ the Search
Classes. The purpose is to:' further
understanding and communication, dispe-Xl
myths, outline search basics,
discuss reunions and create a foundatzon
for emotional growth. It is
of3,ered by Triadoption as a free
service to the community.
SEARCH HELP

individual needs are not always being
me%, it is time for a change. Triadopkion
Library is pleased to announce
the beginning of classes for active
selzrcherso These will be offered-in
se.l-.ies of six classes, meeting on
tht% first and third Tuesdays from
7-2 ., p.m. at Triadoption ~ibrary.
T initial series will begin July 1
and will end on August 5, The fee
for the series of six is $30.00.
WHO DOES WHAT

POST SEARCH--CONTACT-IREUNION
This group has come into being for all
of us who are no longer searching, but
who still need support and dialogue
as we struggle with the questions not
yet answered. "What Do I Do Now?"
Contact, reunion, rejection, new and
old .family relationships, new needs
and old ones still present--all things
with which we must deal. May Boycien,
licensed fiarriage, Family, Child Counselor,
will moderate this group which
is offered as a service to the adoption
community. It will meet the 2nd Saturday
of each month from 1:OO-3:00 at
the Library.
CONSULTANT TRAINING
The ISC Institute, a branch of Independent
Search. Consultants, is also
embarking on formal consultant training,
to be offered on the 2nd and 4th
Tuesdays 7:OO p.m. Triadoption Library.
$he consultant training will
consist of a series of sLx classes,
focusing on advanced search techniques, -
professional aspects of consultation,
and counselling.techniques, This
training is designed for those who have
completed searches and are interested
in sharing that very special knowledge
with others. If you are interested
in becoming a certified search consultant,
and in enrolling in the training
classes, please contact ISC at 892-4098.
POST REUNION
Anyone interested in a weekly postreunion
group to be held on Fridays?
It would require a commitment of re-
- gular attendance. It would be offered
by the Library and led by Judy Albert,
a licensed Marriage, Family, Child
Counselor and a reunited adoptee.
