MINUTES OF THE ORDINARY MEETING OF COUNCIL 21 AUGUST 2012 7. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES Moved Councillor Willox, seconded Councillor Michael That the Minutes of the Ordinary Meeting of Council of 7 August 2012 be confirmed, and signed by the Presiding Member as a true and correct record of proceedings. The motion was put and declared CARRIED (13/0). For: Councillors Boothman, Cooke, Ferrante, Italiano, Jenkinson, Lagan, Michael, Proud, Re, Sargent, Stewart, Tyzack and Willox. Against: Nil. 8. ANNOUNCEMENTS BY THE PRESIDING MEMBER 8.1 PRESENTATION TO THE CITY FROM MR DON BARBER - PRINCIPAL OF MT LAWLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL The Mayor welcomed Mr Don Barber, Principal of Mt Lawley Primary School and thanked him for attending the Council meeting. Mr Barber addressed Council to acknowledge the magnificent contribution the City of Stirling and its employees made to the Mt Lawley Primary School after the terrible fire that took place on the 7 July 2012. He presented the Council with a special certificate in appreciation of the fantastic work that the City has completed and sincerely thanked the Council on behalf of the community. 9.
