Background
Lot 60, House Number 1, Milldale Way, Mirrabooka comprises a total area of 58,763m 2
(5.87ha) of land owned by the Department of Housing. The land is un-developed land and
located west of the Herb Graham Recreation Reserve. The Herb Graham Reserve contains
a variety of facilities, softball playing fields, a recreation centre and other playing fields
providing a service at State and District levels. The Herb Graham reserve is currently zoned
‘Development’ under the City’s Local Planning Scheme No. 3.
Under Local Planning Scheme No.3, portion of Lot 60, House Number 1, Milldale Way,
Mirrabooka is zoned 'Residential R80' and the balance being zoned 'Business' (refer Local
Planning Scheme No. 3 - Zoning Map below). It is proposed that the whole site be rezoned
'Development' to coincide with the future Structure Plan to be prepared for the Mirrabooka
Centre and with the existing zoning of the Herb Graham Reserve.

1. Subdivision
The Department of Housing obtained conditional approval in 2011 to subdivide Lot 60,
House Number 1, Milldale Way, Mirrabooka (Application: WAPC 143778) into four (4)
lots and is currently seeking a subdivision clearance for new titles (refer Proposed
Subdivision Plan below).
