This Scheme was approved in October 2004. The<br />
major objective of the Scheme is to fund the<br />
Masters' level degree training of 75<br />
meritorious public sector faculty members<br />
in the field of engineering. The Scheme aims<br />
to improve local capacities to meet the<br />
changing needs of Pakistan's economy and to<br />
support technological advancement in both<br />
institutions and industry.<br />
