n Special note on care and maintenance
n Check the tightness of the nuts on the glass retaining flanges regularly (about twice
a year). Tighten loose nuts by hand or with a special key. Do not over tighten! (fig. 1).

n If the door becomes stiff, grease the closing mechanism slightly with a special heat
resistant grease (heat resistance up to 1100°C, e.g. copper paste). (fig. 2).

n Cracks in the fireclay brick are unavoidable due to continuous exposure to heat.
Under normal conditions these do not adversely affect the function or durability of
the stove.
Your stove is tested by the manufacturer to the standard EN 13240. It must not be
modified in any way as this may lead to loss of approval for use and render the guarantee
invalid.
