The distance between the stove and non-combustible materials or objects may be slightly less. These clearances are required for compliance with the regulations applicable in Germany for fireplaces, stoves and other heating appliances. In spite of compliance with the above safety clearances, the stove may cause discolouration of sensitive materials in its vicinity e.g. wallpapers containing vinyl, textile or other structuring substances. These discolourations are due to the quality of the materials and are not covered by the guarantee. The specified safety clearances between the stove and inflammable or valuable objects are intended only to prevent the outbreak of fire.
