Founded in 1967, Les Vignobles
Foncalieu is an Union of Cooperatives
representing more than 6.000
hectares in full property and nearly
1.000 wine-growers , which makes
from us one of the leading wine company
in Languedoc-Roussillon.
Located at the crossroad of Mediterranean
climates and Atlantic
influences, between the medieval
city of Carcassonne and the lively
Southern city of Béziers, our vineyards
are composed of a great variety of
different “Terroirs” (soils) scattered
over an area facing the Mediterranean
Sea.
Thanks to our international team of
agronomists and oenologists, we
are able to find the great combination
between the French traditional
know-how and the modern and international
winemaking techniques,
which allow us to have an appropriate
answer to the most exigent
customers.
Products
Vin de Pays d’ Oc, with the
most traditional varietals (Merlot,
Cabernet-Sauvignon, Syrah,
Chardonnay…), as well as with local
grapes (Marselan,Vermentino,
Marsanne,Carignan..)
AOC Domaines and Châteaux from
the most prestigious appellations
from Languedoc (Corbières, Minervois,
Fitou, Coteaux du Languedoc,
Faugères, Saint-Chinian..) in both traditional
or modern appealing packaging.
And thanks to new Caves cooperatives
who joined the union, Côtes du
Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages (Laudun,
Saint Gervais), as well as wines
from Gascogne and Provence.
