Company
The estate is named after its
three owners: Christophe and Martine
Rethore, and Jean Michel Davy:
a society vineyard.
We decided to join our terroirs and
our expertise in order to benefit the
quality of our wines.
The vineyard, located south of the
Loire, between Muscadet and Anjou,
now consists of 40 ha of vines planted
on very varied rocky slopes made up
of quartz and schist.
Respecting the environment, we use
an integrated pest management
approach, involving ploughing of
the soil, strips of grass, high leaf area,
Cordon pruning and removal of excess
leaves.
Our wines offer an authentic expression
of the characteristics typical of
the Loire.
Products
For these reasons, we have chosen
to plant several grape varieties:
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon,
Our special characteristic in the Loire
Valley is to produce a wide range of
vins de pays which are divided into
two distinct categories.
The first is our LOIRE COLLECTION and
offers pleasant, easy to drink wines;
monovarietal, they are made using
modern techniques with temperature
control, so as to extract all the
flavours of the grape variety. The collection
consists of six wines:
Sauvignon Blanc,
Chardonnay,
Pinot Noir,
Gamay Rouge,
Cabernet Franc,
Pinot Gris
The second is called PAVILLON and
is produced in red and white. These
wines are the result of the blending
of several grape varieties and terroirs.
Both the reds and the whites are
powerful, generous, and minerally,
with notes of ripe fruit.
The vineyard sells about 200,000
bottles.
We have chosen modern packaging
for all of the wines, which is popular
with consumers.
