6.5.4 Evapotranspiration mechanism<br />
Evapotranspiration had an interannual variability, ranging from a low of 357 mm in<br />
2005/06 to a high of 406 mm in 2003/04. In Figure 6.9a we show the daily ET<br />
relative to the depth of the water table below the surface of the low lawn<br />
vegetation. This suggests no clear dependence of ET on water table depth. Besides<br />
we note in Figure 6.9b that the mean ratio of daily ET/PET is almost constant at ca.<br />
0.45 for all water table depths.<br />
