Print Towers Perform Print Station Maintenance Refer to the Operator’s <strong>Guide</strong> for the DT9000 series print stations for maintaining components at the printhead interface and vacuum cabinet. Replace the HEPA Pre-filters Use the following procedure at each print tower: 1. Using a safety ladder or scaffold, remove the grill at the top of the HEPA filter housing. 2. Remove the prefilter and discard it. 3. Inspect the mesh filter for any accumulation of dust or crystallized ink. If the filter requires replacement, contact your service person. 4. Install a replacement prefilter. 5. Replace the grill, and return to printing operations. Use the following procedure at each print bank: 1. At the web cleaner, turn off power (Figure 5.4). 2. Remove the cover of the web cleaner housing. 3. Remove the pre-filter and discard it. 4. Inspect the mesh filter for any accumulation of dust. If the filter is dirty, remove and discard the filter. Install a replacement mesh filter.
