the materials testing division was sold to private ownership leading to the founding<br />
of the testing company Exova. In 1991 it bought HIP Ltd, a leading Hot Isostatic<br />
Processing business. In 2001 the Company bought Lindberg Corporation, the<br />
largest heat treatment business in the United States. <strong>The</strong> company changed its<br />
name from Bodycote International plc to Bodycote plc in <strong>April</strong> 2008".<br />
Monday Morning Briefing. ABB in Florence, SC had an auction March 19th/2013<br />
and included were 2 CI Hayes vacuum oil quench furnaces and 2 CI Hayes vacuum<br />
tempers. Selling price for the oil quench furnaces was $50,000 USD each and<br />
$30,000 USD each for the tempers. All were in top notch condition with controls<br />
updated in 2012. Based on the sale price we would assume they were bought by an<br />
end user as opposed to a used equipment dealer. Where are they now-Pat Connor.<br />
Pat has been in the industry for quite some time enjoying stints at companies such<br />
as Bodycote and Bluewater <strong>The</strong>rmal. It would appear that Pat is now with Roller<br />
Bearing Corp., a large captive heat treater with a number of locations around the<br />
world. Wolfson <strong>Heat</strong> <strong>Treat</strong>ment Centre, is British industry's focal point for<br />
information, advice and education on processing aspects of metal heat treatment.<br />

SECO/WARWICK Europe S.A. commissioned a roller hearth furnace processing<br />
line for the heat treatment of ARLHE-T-700 type bearing rings. "<strong>The</strong> technological<br />
installation will operate at Company Harkovskij Podshipnikovyj Zavod (HARP), PAO.<br />
It is a member of the Industrial Group UPEC. UPEC is one of the biggest Ukrainian<br />
private-sector companies in the machine industry. This company manufactures<br />
components and mechanisms for the automotive industry and for agricultural<br />
machines, railways and metallurgy sector as well. This processing line is the first of<br />
three that are being manufactured at SECO/WARWICK EUROPE S.A. At the same<br />
time, at the customer’s site pre-acceptance tests of the second processing line<br />
ARLHE-T is taking place". And while we are on the topic of new furnace orders<br />
Metal Powder Products (MPP) headquartered in Westfield, Indiana, USA,<br />
recently installed a 30 in. high capacity Abbott sintering furnace at its Washington<br />
Street facility in St Mary, PA. According to what we have heard business is<br />
