SSI UK/Technical Seminar. Thursday March 7/2013 furnace controls company
SSI in conjunction with SSI UK held one of their regular technical seminars, this
one in Birmingham, England. We at "The Monty" were in attendance and with no
doubt whatsoever we can say that this was a tremendous success with attendance
of roughly 70 captive and commercial heat treaters. Speakers were Steve
Thompson and Jim Oakes of SSI in Cincinnati and the entire event was very
capably organized by Matt and James Cross of SSI UK. These pictures give you an
idea about the event. In the group photo you see in the front row just left of center
with the dark blue tie Mr. Alan Hick who is Secretary of the Contract Heat
Treatment Association, the largest organization of commercial heat treaters in
the UK. March 12/2013
