>> Vouchers can be used for the disposal of domestic waste (including green waste) at any of the city’s<br />
waste facilities<br />
>> Vouchers cannot be used for some types of waste, including tyres, car bodies, asbes<strong>to</strong>s and other<br />
regulated or ‘special waste’. These items will continue <strong>to</strong> incur a cost for disposal.<br />
>> Residents will need <strong>to</strong> present their vouchers <strong>to</strong> the gatehouse officer who will determine how many<br />
vouchers and/or the additional cost that may be incurred <strong>to</strong> allow for waste disposal.<br />
>> Landlords are encouraged <strong>to</strong> pass vouchers on<strong>to</strong> their tenants.<br />
>> Commercial cus<strong>to</strong>mers cannot use the vouchers, and will continue <strong>to</strong> pay the relevant charges.<br />
>> Vouchers can only be used for vehicles with a RGVM less than 4.5 <strong>to</strong>nne<br />

Senior residents may be eligible for an infirm waste collection service. If residents are physically unable<br />
<strong>to</strong> bring out there bins <strong>to</strong> the footpath and have no carer, you may apply <strong>to</strong> <strong>Townsville</strong> Waste Services for<br />
assistance. To see if you are eligible for this service please call <strong>Townsville</strong> Waste Services Office.<br />
