residents often means the
transferral of staff. We have
wide experience in managing
the transfer of TUPE staff and,
with early communication and
involvement of staff members,
the move is seamless.
In 2011 CLV UK launched its
V-Star employee recognition
programme. The V-Star
Employee of the Year is awarded
to the member of staff that
has delivered over-and-above
customer service. The first
recipient of the award joined
CLV UK through a TUPE process
after 10 years’ experience of
working with the university
accommodation department.
The recipient was recognised
for personal development as
well as the development that
he had invested in his own
team. Recognition is a key
factor in staff retention and,
at Campus Living Villages we
provide opportunities and
encouragement for our staff to
grow with us.
