to enjoy a good old fashion block party/fair celebrating
the changing of the seasons. The event is
open to the public free of admission charge. This
community function on Fremont, hopes to gather
residents and visitors to celebrate the changing of

Sept. 22: Scrapbooking at the Cordova Firehall
from 9 am to 5 pm. Everyone is welcome - even
if you have never scrapbooked before. Come and
see what it is all about. Cost is $25.00 and includes
breakfast and lunch as well as snacks.

Sept. 28: Heritage Day at the Historical Society,
25 S. Washington St., Easton in the Historical
Society Garden. Kick off Heritage Day at 11am
with a free exhibit opening. 12 noon to 5pm Cordova
Picnic and 2 to 5 pm Corn Hole Tournament.
A partnership between the Chapel District 4-H
Club and HSTC culminates with this exhibit about
the history of Cordova and the Chapel district
community: Windows to the Past: Cordova Remembered.
Immediately following the exhibit
opening will be the Cordova Picnic and Corn Hole
Tournament, beginning at 12pm in the HSTC Garden.
The cost for the all you can eat picnic of
crabs and chicken is $25 per adult and $10 per
child 7-17. Children under 6 are free. The picnic
price includes registration for the Corn Hole Tournament.
Those who only want to play can pay $10
per person. The Tournament will start at 2 pm.
