WHITELINE TALK OF THE SHOW AT
AUTO SALON SINGAPORE
Whiteline recently made a very strong impact at the recent Asia Auto Salon held
at the Singapore Exhibition hall in early October.
Over four days the inaugural show
exhibited well-known tuning houses from
Singapore, boasted aftermarket performance
brands from Japan, Thailand, Singapore,
Australia and capped it off with drift
exhibitions and eye-catching race queens also
getting the cameras flashing and the hearts
racing.
The Whiteline booth showed off products
and marketing material targeted at key
modified vehicles in the Singapore market
along with the main feature, a purpose built
Time Attack EVO 9 fitted with a full
SUPERCHARGE BACKS CORKERY

Motorsport-prepared Holden Commodore, young New Zealand driver
Colin Corkery returned to Australia’s Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series in round
five at Queensland Raceway in late August.
Mr Corkery, a familiar sight as a front runner
in his Ford Falcon Ute carrying the SuperCharge
Batteries colours in the V8 Ute Racing series
last year, has held a burning ambition to race in
the V8 Supercar category.
Although making his debut in the first round
of the Fujitsu class during the Clipsal 500 at
Adelaide, it is only now that the business
backing of SuperCharge and other sponsors is
signed off that he has confidently returned to
the track.
This talented young driver adds a new
element to the Fujitsu Series after running in
Nexteer, a new company formed by the sale of
Delphi Global Steering Division to GM Global
Steering Holdings is one of the world’s largest
manufacturers of original equipment steering
pumps, half shaft CVs and steering components
and reputedly the only global Tier One automotive
supplier exclusively focused on advanced
steering and driveline technology.
From early 2008, Australian Power Steering
has been responsible for all aftermarket
replacement sales for the Saginaw sourced
products and existing contracts have been
reassigned to cover the Nexteer brand of steering
parts throughout Australasia. All previous Delphi
complement of Whiteline products and draped
by race queens from Australia and Singapore.
Having dabbled in the Asian market for
some time, the show represented Whiteline’s
official launch into the South East Asian market
with its recently appointed distributor and the
reception was fantastic.
Whiteline Marketing Manager, Andy Nolan,
commented that the recognition of Whiteline
was amazing.
“We have really only started in this market
but the awareness and more importantly usage
of the product is impressive,” he said.
