STEWARDSHIP & FAITH
Time, Talent, Treasure.
Putting God First?
“...go and do likewise.” (Luke 10:37) This was Jesus’ simple
command to all of us at the end of the Good Samaritan story.
How do we do “likewise?” By sharing our skills. By reaching
into our pockets when financial help is needed. By taking the
time to help when we are needed, not when it’s convenient for
us.
Your Stewardship in Treasure
This could be for you
or someone you love
or someone you know
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
IS NOT ANOTHER CHURCH PROGRAM . . .
. . . it’s a process
• to discover something special about yourself
• to deepen your spirituality and/or prayer life
• to learn more about the “traditions” and uniqueness of
the Catholic Faith
• to journey with others in a Christian process
Who’s a perfect candidate to join the RCIA process?
† Catholics who want to learn more about their faith
† Catholics who want to return to celebrating their faith
† Catholics who never celebrated the sacraments of:
Eucharist, Reconciliation and/or Confirmation
† Non-Catholics who will marry or are married to a
Catholic—and have questions
† Anyone who wishes to join the Catholic Church
For more information, or if you have any questions, please
HAPPINESS
is above us, no one can be happy who does not rise
GIVE THE GIFT OF A
CATHOLIC SCHOOL
EDUCATION
Did you or your children receive a Catholic education?
What do you remember about your education that meant
so much you? Whatever your answers are, would you
like to help a child share in that same experience?
During these economic times, there are many families
that struggle to give their children that type of
education. The Saint Agnes parish has so many
families that want their children to get a faith-filled
education. Here at Saint Agnes School we try to
educate the mind, the heart and the spirit.
Maybe you would like to think about sponsoring a
child. It can be in any amount. Your donation also is
tax deductible. If this seems like something you would
like to consider, please contact the principal, Mrs.
Heather Schnaars at 732-381-0850 ext. 1. Together with
the community we can help the children share in the
education and the traditions of the Catholic faith for
years to come.
The good Samaritan doesn't ask the victim, “Who did
this to you?” or “Did you deserve it?” or “Can you pay
me back?” Like Christ, the Samaritan reveals “the image
of the invisible God” (Colossians 1:15) by treating the
suffering person with compassionate mercy and healing
his wounds, not counting the cost.
