OUTDOOR RINKS<br />

The <strong>Charlottetown</strong> Parks and Recreation Department will once again be providing<br />

outdoor skating opportunities for our residents and visitors alike. Depending on the<br />

weather the outdoor rinks are usually up and running in mid January.<br />

In areas where it is possible to split the ice in two, we will try to provide for those<br />

who wish to play pick up hockey AND skating for those wishing to skate without<br />

interruption. If rinks are small and not divided, then we ask people to respect the<br />

fact that they are for skating only. All outdoor rinks are subject to weather and<br />

equipment factors.<br />

Volunteers Accepted…<br />

When the snow flies we <strong>of</strong>ten have to rely on volunteers to assist us with snow removal<br />

on our outdoor rinks. So please bring a shovel and give us a helping hand, it makes a<br />

tremendous difference and will be greatly appreciated.<br />
