PRE-SCHOOL<br />

BRIGHT FUTURES CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTRE<br />

Bright Futures Child Development Centre, located at 200 Richmond Street in<br />

<strong>Charlottetown</strong>, accepts children ages infant to 4 years old. The centre is open Monday<br />

to Friday from 7:15 AM to 5:30 PM. The program includes bowling, creative activities,<br />

gym activities and much more. Bright Futures <strong>of</strong>fers a Pre - Kindergarten program in<br />

September from 8:45 – 11:15 AM for children 4 years old.<br />

CAREGIVER AND TOT PROGRAM<br />

Offered by Four Neighbourhoods Community Health Centre, located at 152 St. Peter’s Rd.<br />

The program is designed for children - birth to 4 years <strong>of</strong> age to have an opportunity to<br />

interact with other children. It is our goal to increase parent’s positive parenting skills.<br />

It’s a great chance for parents/caregivers to meet their neighbours, to exchange helpful<br />

parenting tips and to develop a support network. Activities include stories, games,<br />

crafts & a nutritious snack. Group meets Monday & Thursday 9:30 – 11:30 AM<br />

September - June. Registration is required.<br />

CONFEDERATION CENTRE PUBLIC LIBRARY CHILDREN’S LIBRARY<br />

Programs <strong>of</strong>fered in the Confederation Centre Public Library, Children’s Library require<br />

registration. Since the Children’s Library <strong>of</strong>fers on-going programs, groups are advised to<br />

call ahead when planning a visit. Regular reading times can be arranged for groups. After<br />

school groups are encouraged and welcome.<br />
