all employees about the City's Workplace Violence Policy. This is
a mandatory course given to all employees.

This course is presented the Bureau of Engineering staff, City
Attorney staff and consultants. This course gives a general
overview of the claims process for a cash contract. Emphasis is
on proper contract documentation during the construction so
that a the claims can be effectively defended.
CEU:
This course is offered by Bureau management to promote a
uniform, consistent community relations policy to all BCA staff.
The class gives clear direction on dealing with the public,
council staff, media and other city departments.

Contractor Performance Evaluation (CPERS) training. This
class is provided by Special Research and Investigation staff and
reviews the rules and regulations in evaluating, documenting,
and reporting the performance of contractors on Public Works
construction contracts.

The roles and responsibilities of the Construction Inspector's
dealing with BCA, other city departments, the contractor and the
