ICC Review
This course builds on the general information presented in
Concrete Const I and gives the inspector training in inspection of
placed concrete for curb & gutter, catch basins, sidewalks,
driveways, access ramps, etc. The inspector learns to check
grade, forms, rebar spacing and sizing, and concrete quality
control. Review of Greenbook specifications on materials,
reinforcement, placement of reinforcement, concrete mixing,
transportation, placement, sampling, vibration, finish
requirements, curing, and inspection techniques. Determining
payment for acceptably completed work.

Continuation of Sewer Construction I. This class deals with
construction methods, installation, payments, types of bedding,
joints, man-entry inspection methods and MH inspection. This
class has an in-depth study of pertinent Greenbook sections and
standard plans that deal with sewer construction.

Reading, understanding, and interpretation of plans,
specifications, contractor submittals, and other contract
documents used in construction of a public building project.
Covers all aspects of site development from demolition and site
preparation, through landscaping, testing, and final inspection.
Special emphasis is on details, architectural, structural and
building systems.

ATSAC Refresher

Review course on Automated Traffic Survelliance and Control
(ATSAC). Overview of materials, equipment, regulations,
installation, testing, record keeping, quantities, safety and
inspection of ATSAC systems. Fiber optics, trenching (rockwheeling)
and traffic requirements are covered.
This course is designed to prepare students for the Special
Inspection examination offered by the International Code
Council (ICC).

on codes and job specifications. The program covers inspection
during preplacement, placement, and post-placement operations.

This course is designed to prepare students for the Special
Inspection examination offered by the ICC.
