Username and password
What’s my username and password?
The campus logon account is the account you use to
log onto the portal. Your username is the first letter
of your first name, the first letter of your middle name
(if you do not have a middle name, this letter will be
skipped), the first 12 letters of your last name and the
last two digits of your social security number.
Example:
Student name: Bubba L. Schwarzenegger
Social security #: 123-45-6789
Username: Blschwarzenegg89
your email address will be:
username@my.sanjuancollege.edu
Example: Blschwarzenegg89@my.sanjuancollege.edu
The default password is sjcp + the last four digits
of your social security number. For example if your
social security number is 123-45-6789, your default
password would be sjcp6789.
Password Security
Your San Juan College password gives you access
to your personal student information. Since your
information is confidential, your password should be
kept secure. If at any time you believe your password
security has been jeopardized, you should change
your password. If you forget your password, the Help
Desk will reset it to something only you will know.
Remember . . .
Never tell anyone your password.
You must log on to use any SJC computer.
Test your login accounts in one of the SJC computer
labs before attending your fi rst class. This will
ensure that your accounts are set up correctly and
working properly.
Always log-off the computer when finished.
San Juan College provides every student an email
account through outlook.live.com, with 10
gigabytes of storage space. You may access your
email from the mY SJC portal or mail.live.com.
You can use your laptop computer on the SJC
network if your laptop has a wireless network card.

Associated Students
Associated Students of San Juan College (A.S./S.J.C.)
provides students a voice in the quality of their educational
experience and an opportunity for students to
gain important leadership experience through active
involvement in Student Government. Associated Students
not only provides leadership for the student body
but also offers a wide variety of entertainment and
provides funding and support for an extensive activities

Students with Children
Child Care
The Child and Family Development Center, located on
the east side of the campus, offers full-day programs
for the children of full time (minimum 12 credits) San
Juan College students; a limited number of child care
slots are available for staff and faculty. Infant, toddler
and preschool aged children are eligible for enrollment.
The Center maintains a waiting list and parents
are encouraged to put their child(ren) on the list at the
earliest possible date as the traditional wait time for
enrollment is a year and a half to two years.

Toy Lending Library
The Family Resource Center Toy Lending Library
is sponsored by the San Juan College Training and
Technical Assistance program. The library provides
developmentally appropriate toys, books, games, and
resources for the children and families of San Juan
County. There is no charge to borrow toys or resource
materials from the library. The library hours are:
mon., Tues., & Thurs. 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Wednesday
10 .am. - 6 p.m.
Closed daily from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
and closed on Friday
The Family Resource Center is located at the San
Juan College Annex, 3539 E. 30th Street.
Students with Disabilities
If you have documented physical, emotional, or learning
disabilities, the Disability Services program is
available to assist you. Students are responsible for
seeking accommodations each semester. Accommodations
may include audio textbooks, note takers, test
modifi cations, special software, etc. For information,
visit the Advising and Counseling Center in the Educational
