9. PROJECT COMMUNICATION & STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT PLAN
As a minimum, the PPP will comply with regulation 3(2) of the EMF Regulations (2010). The main
aims of the PPP include:
1. To inform I&APs of the EMF process and its objectives;
2. To provide an opportunity for inputs from I&APs; and
3. To give feedback to I&APs with the opportunity for them to respond.
Public participation is not an event but an on-going process, and the PPP will take place
throughout the EMF development process. A dedicated team member from Nemai Consulting that
is responsible for public participation will lead the process.
The main tasks associated with the public participation for the UTDM EMF are tabulated below.
