CREATIVE THINKERS
Description:
You will think creatively by generating and exploring ideas and make original
connections. You will try different ways to tackle a problem, working with others
to find imaginative solutions and outcomes that are of value.
Skills, behaviours and personal qualities:
• You will generate ideas and explore possibilities.
• You will ask questions to extend your thinking.
• You will connect your own and others’ ideas and experiences in inventive ways.
• You will question your own and others’ assumptions.
• You will try out alternatives or new solutions and follow ideas through.
• You will adapt ideas as circumstances change.
When might you do this?
• In RE you would connect your experiences and those of others to inform
answers to ultimate questions and ethical issues.
• In Mathematics you might adopt a questioning approach and develop
your own lines of inquiry and convincing arguments to support decisions
and conclusions.
• In Music you could make adjustments to your performance in different
contexts and relate music to other art forms.
REFLECTIVE LEARNERS
Description:
You will evaluate your strengths and limitations, setting realistic goals with
success criteria. You will monitor your own performance and progress, inviting
feedback from others and making changes to further your learning.

• You will assess yourself and others, identifying opportunities
and achievements.
• You will set goals with success criteria for your development and work.
