Clerk upon payment <strong>of</strong> the annual fee <strong>of</strong> $5 <strong>and</strong> certification by a<br />
representative <strong>of</strong> the Police Department that the structure housing the<br />
pigeons conforms to all local codes <strong>and</strong> regulations. Failure to comply<br />
with any local codes or regulations within 10 days after notice by a<br />
representative <strong>of</strong> the Police Department shall result in revocation <strong>of</strong> the<br />
permit by the <strong>Village</strong> Board.<br />
3. All coops <strong>and</strong> pens shall be constructed so as to be easily cleaned <strong>and</strong><br />
kept in good repair. The inside <strong>and</strong> outside <strong>of</strong> such structures shall be<br />
whitewashed or painted as <strong>of</strong>ten as necessary to keep them clean or<br />
finished with such material as can be easily cleaned. All such structures<br />
shall be kept clean <strong>and</strong> sanitary <strong>and</strong> shall not cause any objectionable<br />
odor. Accumulations <strong>of</strong> cleanings or excrement <strong>of</strong> more than one day's<br />
operation in any such structure shall be deemed a violation <strong>of</strong> this<br />
section.<br />
D. KEEPING OF LIVESTOCK AND POULTRY REGULATED<br />
1. Livestock - No person shall keep or maintain any livestock such as<br />
horses, cattle, sheep or goats in any zoning district, except as a permitted<br />
or conditional use.<br />
2. Poultry - No person shall keep or maintain poultry or fowl in any zoning<br />
district, except agricultural districts.<br />
3.809 STORAGE OF JUNK, ETC., REGULATED<br />
A. RESTRICTED - No person shall store junked or discarded property, including<br />
automobiles, automobile parts, trucks, tractors, refrigerators, furnaces, washing<br />
machines, stoves, machinery or machinery parts, wood, bricks, cement blocks or<br />
other unsightly debris which substantially depreciates property values in the<br />
neighborhood, except in an enclosure which screens such property from public<br />
view or upon permit issued by the <strong>Village</strong> Board.<br />
B. ORDER FOR COMPLIANCE - The Building Inspector may require by written<br />
order any premises in violation <strong>of</strong> this subsection to be put in compliance within<br />
the time specified in such order <strong>and</strong>, if the order is not complied with, may have<br />
the premises put in compliance <strong>and</strong> the cost there<strong>of</strong> assessed as a special tax<br />
against the property.<br />
C. MOTOR VEHICLE AND TRAILER SALVAGE STORAGE<br />
1. Plan Commission To Establish Rules - The Plan Commission shall enact<br />
such rules <strong>and</strong> regulations including, but not limited to, provisions for<br />
fencing, distance from highways, etc., for the regulation <strong>of</strong> the<br />
dismantling, accumulation or storage <strong>of</strong> junked or inoperable motor<br />
vehicles <strong>and</strong> trailers or parts there<strong>of</strong> outside <strong>of</strong> any building as deemed<br />
necessary for the public health, safety <strong>and</strong> welfare. Rules <strong>and</strong> regulations<br />
so enacted shall, after ratification by the <strong>Village</strong> Board <strong>and</strong> publication in<br />
Chapter 3 Page 39 <strong>of</strong> 65
