1003.1.5 Course Setting for K1<br />

Different courses must be adapted for K1 and K2, which should have<br />

turning radiuses corresponding to their age. The ski to be used is the<br />

appropriate GS skis for K1 events.<br />

1005 Start<br />

Starting order and start intervals according to art. 621.3 and 622.<br />

1006 Execution of the Super-G<br />

A Super-G will be carried out in one run.<br />

1007 Crash Helmet<br />

All competitors and forerunners must wear a crash helmet for official<br />

training as well as for the race that meets the FIS Equipment<br />

Specifications.<br />

Soft ear protection is only permitted for helmets used in Slalom.<br />

1008 Yellow Zones<br />

Art. 705 also applies.<br />

1100 Combined<br />

1100.1 Common Rules<br />

Based art. 201.6.2 and art. 201.6.9 Alpine Combined competitions may be<br />

held according to the technical regulations of the events and special<br />

regulations approved by FIS.<br />

1100.2 Combined competitions may be held at all levels. When special rules<br />

apply (for example WSC, OWG, Cups), these rules are considered an<br />

integral part of the <strong>ICR</strong>.<br />

1100.3 The following possibilities of Combined events are possible:<br />

- Super Combined<br />

- Classical Combined<br />

- Special forms of Combined events<br />

1100.4 Combined competitions may be held as Single or Team events.<br />

1100.5 Starting numbers given to the competitors for the first run remain the<br />

same for all runs.<br />

1100.6 The results of a Combined competition are only counted if the competitor<br />

takes part in each event of the Combined and appears in the intermediate<br />

results.<br />

1100.7 The Combined results are calculated by adding the race times of the<br />

single events or runs. Special forms of Combined events (Art. 1103) can<br />

be calculated according to other regulations.<br />

1100.8 The Organising Committee must state in the invitation how many<br />

competitors are qualified for the second and any subsequent runs. The<br />

Jury may change this number.<br />
