627.7 was disqualified, (DSQ) did not start (DNS) or did not finish (DNF) in the<br />
first run. Super Combined FIS races are exempt from this rule. A<br />
competitor who was DSQ, DNS or DNF in the slalom run can start the<br />
speed event. If the speed event precedes the slalom run the exemption<br />
does not apply. (<strong>ICR</strong> 621.3.3)<br />
628 Penalties<br />
A penalty will be assessed by the Jury especially where the competitor:<br />
628.1 violate the rules governing advertising on equipment (art. 207.)<br />
628.2 alters the start number in a way which is not permitted (art. 606.1)<br />
628.3 does not wear or carry the official start number according to the rules. (art.<br />
614.3)<br />
628.4 skis through set gates or practices turns parallel to the course or violates<br />
in any way rules of competitors’ inspection (614.3)<br />
628.5 is not ready to start on time or makes a false start (art. 613.6, 613.7,<br />
805.3.1, 805.4, 1226.3)<br />
628.6 violates rules of the start or starts in a manner that is not permitted by the<br />
rules (art. 613.3)<br />
628.7 requests a re-run which proves not to be valid (art. 623.3.2)<br />
628.8 continues to race after committing a gate fault (art. 614.2.2)<br />
628.9 fails to pass the finish correctly (art. 615.3)<br />
628.10 removes skis before crossing the red line (art. 206.5)<br />
628.11 does not leave the finish area through the official exit with all the<br />
competition equipment used in the race (art. 615.1.7).<br />
628.12 takes skis to the official ceremonies (art. 206.6)<br />
628.13 receives outside help during a competition (art.661.3)<br />
628.14 has actually started in a competition and is later determined by the Jury to<br />
have been in violation of art 627 rules.<br />
629 Disqualifications<br />
A competitor will be disqualified if he:<br />
629.1 participates in the race under false pretences<br />
629.2 jeopardises the security of persons or property or causes actual injury or<br />
damage<br />
