603.7.2 The course setter sets the race course respecting the existing safety<br />
measures and course preparation. The course setter must take speed<br />
control into consideration.<br />
603.7.3 All courses must be set according to the <strong>ICR</strong><br />
603.7.4 The courses must be set and ready in time, so that the competitors are<br />
not disturbed during course inspection.<br />
603.7.5 The course setters should take care that the difference between the<br />
winning times of each run of Slalom and Giant Slalom will not be too<br />
great.<br />
603.7.6 The course setting is a task of the course setter alone. He is responsible<br />
for adhering to the rules of the <strong>ICR</strong> and may be advised by members of<br />
the Jury, and by the technical advisor in Downhill and Super-G, if present.<br />
603.7.7 The course setters must participate in all team captains' meetings at<br />
which a report is to be made about his course.<br />
603.8 Arrival at the Race Site<br />
603.8.1 For Downhill and Super-G races, this should be no later than the morning<br />
of the day of the first team captains' meeting, so that if required any<br />
additional course preparation or safety measures can be implemented.<br />
603.8.2 For Slalom and Giant Slalom races if possible this should be the day<br />
before, but always before the first team captains' meeting.<br />
604 Accreditation / Rights and Duties of Team Officials<br />
604.1 Officials, Medical* and Technical Personnel<br />
Quotas for the right of access to the closed race course:<br />
- up to 3 competitors: 3 trainers 2 doctors* 2 technicians<br />
- 4 or 5 competitors:4 trainers 2 doctors* 3 technicians<br />
- 6 to 10 competitors:5 trainers 2 doctors* 4 technicians<br />
As well as representatives of the FIS in an official capacity.<br />
These quotas include the national team officials (team captains, etc.).<br />
These persons must be identified by armband or another clearly visible<br />
accreditation. If necessary, the Jury can reduce these quotas, Cup Rules<br />
can determine special quotas.<br />
The persons accredited according to art. 220.3 and 220.5, as well as the<br />
official technicians and medical personnel must comply with the directions<br />
of the officials charged by the organisers with responsibility for overall<br />
security (e.g.: stewards, police, etc.).<br />
The instructions given by the Jury to accredited journalists, coaches and<br />
team captains have priority in all cases.<br />
*) Medical personnel includes doctors, physiotherapists, first aid people<br />
