which it wishes its competitors to belong. Each group is then drawn<br />
separately. The Jury should whenever possible, take into account the<br />
observations made during the official Downhill training and must divide<br />
the competitors from several nations fairly between the groups without FIS<br />
points. As a rule, each nation who has entered competitors without FIS<br />
points puts one competitor into the first group of competitors without FIS<br />
points.<br />
621.5 The Jury has the right to change the starting order if they consider the<br />
condition of the course warrants it.<br />
621.6 The draw must take place on the day before the race. For night races, the<br />
draw must take place at the latest before noon on the race day.<br />
621.7 The first group and the groups without FIS Points in Downhill training<br />
must be drawn every day.<br />
621.8 The draw (first group and groups without FIS points) must be held in a<br />
team captains' meeting.<br />
A double draw is recommended with a simultaneous draw of the start<br />
number and the name of the competitor.<br />
621.9 The Jury may allow a computer-assisted draw . A representative of each<br />
nation is required to sign the team entry at the team captains’ meeting<br />
before the draw is conducted by computer.<br />
621.10 Starting Order in Extraordinary Conditions (Snow Seed)<br />
In extraordinary conditions, the Jury may change the starting order of a<br />
Downhill race, a Giant Slalom or a Super-G (when snowing, etc.). A group<br />
of at least 6 competitors, nominated in advance, start before start number<br />
one.<br />
These 6 competitors are drawn from among the last 20% of the start list.<br />
They will start in reverse order of their start numbers.<br />
621.11 Starting Order for the 2 nd Run<br />
621.11.1 In competitions with two runs, the starting order for the second run is<br />
determined by the result list of the first run except for the first 30 places.<br />
621.11.2 For the first 30 places the starting order is as follows:<br />
- the 30 th in the result list starts 1st<br />
- the 29 th in the result list starts 2nd<br />
- the 28 th in the result list starts 3rd<br />
- the 27 th in the result list starts 4th<br />
- the 1st in the result list starts 30 th<br />
- from the 31 st onward according to the result list of the first run.<br />
If more than one competitor is ranked 30 th , the competitor with the lowest<br />
start number will start first.<br />
621.11.3 Starting Order for the 2 nd Run at FIS Races<br />
The Jury has the right to decide no later than one hour before the start of<br />
the first run; whether the reversed order shall be reduced to the first<br />
fifteen placed competitors from the first run.<br />
