Alexis Torres doubled off <strong>the</strong> leftfield wall and Irw<strong>in</strong> Zorilla was hit by a pitch with <strong>the</strong> bases loaded to drive <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> w<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g<br />

run for All Hallows, which captured its third consecutive victory Monday at Van Cortlandt Park <strong>in</strong> The Bronx, beat<strong>in</strong>g<br />

Xavier, 3-2 <strong>in</strong> eight <strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>gs.<br />

James Norwood was solid through seven <strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>gs, allow<strong>in</strong>g four hits and fann<strong>in</strong>g seven, while Gilbert Gonzalez earned <strong>the</strong><br />

one-<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g w<strong>in</strong> as <strong>the</strong> Gaels (9-8) spoiled Xavier’s hopes of a second straight CHSAA Bronx/Manhattan division title.<br />

St. Joseph by <strong>the</strong> Sea 8, Monsignor Farrell 4: One day after cl<strong>in</strong>ch<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> CHSAA Staten Island title, St. Joseph by <strong>the</strong><br />

Sea (13-1) rallied from a 3-0 deficit to beat Monsignor Farrell at <strong>the</strong> College of Staten Island Monday afternoon. Chris<br />

Ramanauskas, V<strong>in</strong> Garcia, Nick Galli and Chris Falcone each had two hits, and Falcone and Joe Stabach both drove <strong>in</strong> a<br />

pair of runs for <strong>the</strong> Vik<strong>in</strong>gs, which swept <strong>the</strong>ir archrival <strong>in</strong> three regular-season meet<strong>in</strong>gs. Nick Del Prete went 2-for-4 with<br />

an RBI for Farrell (10-4), which saw ace Joe Fiori get roughed up for five earned runs on six hits <strong>in</strong> 4-1/3 <strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>gs.<br />

Moore Catholic 2, St. Peter’s 1: John Baggs went <strong>the</strong> distance, allow<strong>in</strong>g one earned run on five hits, strik<strong>in</strong>g out three<br />

with one walk, while Frank Smith and Rob Ortiz each drove <strong>in</strong> a run to lead Moore Catholic (8-6) Monday afternoon at<br />

Clove Lakes Park. Don Pagano allowed one earned run on five hits, walk<strong>in</strong>g three with one strikeout for St. Peter’s, which<br />

fell to 3-11.<br />
