Geophysical data acquisition - OGS

After these research and testing phases, the new acquisition and pre-processing
techniques are validated and have been applied in the service and industrial
surveys.

refraction survey for static corrections, using stationary noise too, indications on
well casing operations.
Before data acquisition, it has to perform some preparatory activities, such as
scouting, topography units location, positioning of the recording materials,
mounting of the sensor pilots on the rig and the short refraction survey to have
the static corrections.
Elaboration and application of an accurate static correction is a very important
step in the processing of VSP and VSP CDP mapping. Data correctly elaborated are
useful in drilling too, i.e. to schedule the casing operations.
