The next liturgical minister schedule will cover June and July, <strong>2013</strong>. If you want to be taken <strong>of</strong>f or<br />

Healing Service With Anointing <strong>of</strong> the Sick<br />

Join us <strong>Sunday</strong>, May 5 at 1:30 p.m., immediately following the 12:15 p.m. Mass, in the<br />

Church for a Healing Prayer Service. After a short scripture reading and prayer, each<br />

individual will be <strong>of</strong>fered the Sacrament <strong>of</strong> the Anointing <strong>of</strong> the Sick. Our June Healing<br />

Service will held at 1:30 p.m., June 2 on the first <strong>Sunday</strong> <strong>of</strong> the month<br />

Altar Server Training<br />

Are you in 5th - 12th grade and interested in becoming an Altar Server? New Altar Server training<br />

is Saturday, May 4, 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. with Fr. David. Pizza lunch will be provided in Faith Sharing/<br />

Harvester rooms, followed by training in the church from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Please RSVP to Colleen<br />

Robey at robeyfamily@sbcglobal.net by Wednesday, May 1.<br />

First Saturday Devotion on May 4 after 7:30 a.m. Mass<br />

The devotion <strong>of</strong> First Saturdays, as requested by Our Lady <strong>of</strong> Fatima, carries with it the<br />

assurance <strong>of</strong> the graces necessary for salvation at the hour <strong>of</strong> death. However, to derive<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>it from such a great promise <strong>of</strong> Our Lady, the devotion must be properly<br />

understood and duly performed. The requirements as stipulated by Our Lady are, on<br />

the first Saturdays <strong>of</strong> five consecutive months: Confession, receive Holy Communion,<br />

recite five decades <strong>of</strong> the Rosary, and keep me company for fifteen minutes meditating<br />

on the mysteries <strong>of</strong> the Rosary, and to do all these things in the spirit <strong>of</strong> reparation to my<br />

<strong>Immaculate</strong> Heart. Please join us for 7:30 a.m. Mass. The recitation <strong>of</strong> the Rosary will<br />

immediately follow in the Church.<br />
