The skies above Jersey come alive to the sights and sounds of international
military and civilian aircraft performing in breath-taking formation teams
and skilful solo aerobatic demonstrations and it is all FREE!
The display takes place over the picturesque St Aubin’s Bay on Jersey’s
south coast, a perfect natural amphitheatre for display aircraft with the
sea and Elizabeth Castle offering a dramatic backdrop.
Activities on the ground include static displays in People’s Park. People’s
Park is just a short walk away from the display arena and gives visitors the
opportunity to check out aircraft close up and to have a chat with the crews.
Come along to Victoria Avenue, find a comfortable spot and while
away the afternoon marvelling at the action in the skies above you.

Jersey Live is the biggest annual music event in the Channel Islands, and
one of the finest boutique festivals in Europe! After six storming editions
featuring dance and indie stars such as Kasabian, The Prodigy, Razorlight,
2ManyDJs and Snow Patrol, the festival returns on September 4th and 5th,
with a bigger and better line up than ever across its five stages. Artists set
to play at JL2010 include Paul Weller, Plan B, Groove Armada, Kate Nash,
Biffy Clyro, Calvin Harris, Tinie Tempah, The Magic Numbers, Professor Green
amongst many others.
Jersey Live truly is one of the warmest, friendliest festivals you could ever
attend. With a strong sense of community spirit, the festival is known for
cultivating many a new friendship, and with such an intimate environment
and picturesque location – set in the lush countryside of the Parish of Trinity
– you’re sure to have the time of your life!
Autumn Walking Week
Saturday 11th – Saturday 18th September
Every year Jersey Tourism host their Autumn Walking Week, featuring an
abundance of escorted walks covering the island’s countryside, coastal tracks and
diverse history. There are over 40 walks to choose from, and ALL of these walks
are FREE. Experience a feast of food and culture as you see, smell and savour island
life. Stroll along the seaside, through woodland, country lanes and clifftop paths, all
in the company of the island’s most respected and experienced walking guides.
