Jersey Air Display<br />

Jersey Live Music Festival<br />

Saturday 4th – Sunday 5th <strong>September</strong><br />

The skies above Jersey come alive to the sights and sounds of international<br />

military and civilian aircraft performing in breath-taking formation teams<br />

and skilful solo aerobatic demonstrations and it is all FREE!<br />

The display takes place over the picturesque St Aubin’s Bay on Jersey’s<br />

south coast, a perfect natural amphitheatre for display aircraft with the<br />

sea and Elizabeth Castle offering a dramatic backdrop.<br />

Activities on the ground include static displays in People’s Park. People’s<br />

Park is just a short walk away from the display arena and gives visitors the<br />

opportunity to check out aircraft close up and to have a chat with the crews.<br />

Come along to Victoria Avenue, find a comfortable spot and while<br />

away the afternoon marvelling at the action in the skies above you.<br />

Jersey Live is the biggest annual music event in the Channel Islands, and<br />

one of the finest boutique festivals in Europe! After six storming editions<br />

featuring dance and indie stars such as Kasabian, The Prodigy, Razorlight,<br />

2ManyDJs and Snow Patrol, the festival returns on <strong>September</strong> 4th and 5th,<br />

with a bigger and better line up than ever across its five stages. Artists set<br />

to play at JL<strong>2010</strong> include Paul Weller, Plan B, Groove Armada, Kate Nash,<br />

Biffy Clyro, Calvin Harris, Tinie Tempah, The Magic Numbers, Professor Green<br />

amongst many others.<br />

Jersey Live truly is one of the warmest, friendliest festivals you could ever<br />

attend. With a strong sense of community spirit, the festival is known for<br />

cultivating many a new friendship, and with such an intimate environment<br />

and picturesque location – set in the lush countryside of the Parish of Trinity<br />

Autumn Walking Week<br />

Saturday 11th – Saturday 18th <strong>September</strong><br />

Every year Jersey Tourism host their Autumn Walking Week, featuring an<br />

abundance of escorted walks covering the island’s countryside, coastal tracks and<br />

diverse history. There are over 40 walks to choose from, and ALL of these walks<br />

are FREE. Experience a feast of food and culture as you see, smell and savour island<br />

life. Stroll along the seaside, through woodland, country lanes and clifftop paths, all<br />

in the company of the island’s most respected and experienced walking guides.<br />
