STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES<br />
CAREER AND TECHNICAL PROGRAM<br />
This program provides supportive services <strong>to</strong> eligible students enrolled in career and technical<br />
programs at <strong>Wayne</strong> <strong>County</strong> <strong>Community</strong> <strong>College</strong> District.<br />
Program Eligibility<br />
Individuals meeting <strong>the</strong> definition of an occupational student with one of <strong>the</strong> eligibility requirements<br />
may receive program services.<br />
A Career and Technical Programs Support student is an individual who has:<br />
1. Formally enrolled in an occupational program as identified by Curriculum Code (CIP code).<br />
2. Declared an intent or commitment through a career assessment <strong>to</strong> formally enroll in an<br />
occupational program.<br />
3. Enrolled in a general occupational course or apprenticeship-related instruction for <strong>the</strong> purpose<br />
of job training.<br />
To be eligible for Career and Technical Programs Support Services one<br />
or more of <strong>the</strong> following requirements must be met:<br />
1. Economically Disadvantaged<br />
2. Enrolled in a Non-traditional Curriculum<br />
3. Individual with a Disability<br />
4. Single Parent Individual<br />
5. Displaced Homemaker<br />
6. Limited English Proficiency<br />

Technical Program Support are:<br />

Tuition Assistance<br />

Career Exploration<br />

Study Skills Assistance Workshops<br />
