Y 9 This proposal provides a link to the existing shared use path, assisting with<br />

sustainable access to services and facilities in the locality.<br />

Y 46 This crossing link would provide access to the Towpath whereby providing access to<br />

London Road and the Town centre. It would also help to link with the Quiet Lanes<br />

project and access to the countryside.<br />

Y 46 A crossing is needed to provide safe access to the facilities on London Road. This is<br />

also close to the proposed site for a new school and therefore a crossing facility<br />

would be required. The provision of this facility should be provided in association<br />

with the school development and school travel plan to provide access to the school<br />

by non motorised means.<br />

Y 173 This is an important connection point linking the development sites with the Town<br />

Centre, Towpath and employment to the north and south of the bridge, hence its<br />

reason for being placed in the General Pot allocation. At the moment the London<br />

Road cycle links end at the canal bridge so a brief to investigate how these can be<br />

incorporated is required. It is envisaged that these development contributions will<br />

supplement additional funding from the Local Transport Plan.<br />

Y 3 This proposal would provide improved access to Roundway Hill for health, leisure<br />

and countryside access.<br />

Y 40 Two suggestions have been put forward: 1. to improve access onto the Towpath<br />

through a direct link or, 2. to provide access via an existing link<br />

Y 12 Bus stops are required to provide an integrated transport system making use of<br />

pedestrian and cycle provisions linking with public transport in this area.<br />

Y 500 This is placed in the General Pot allocation as it is likely that improvements or<br />

increases in capacity in public transport will be required for all occupiers of the<br />

development sites detailed above,<br />

The passenger transport enhancements could include:<br />

£150,000 - for increasing capacity on service 49 (low floor Double Decked<br />
