Description:<br />
To send a message to the Meter via email:<br />
1) Make sure the message format is Plain Text.<br />
2) Leave “Subject Line:” Blank. (Subject fields are allowed but will be ignored if present.)<br />
3) On the “To line:” Enter the Skytel WA Pager Module address as follows:<br />
(Meter Pin Number)@skytel.com<br />
(Meter Pin Number) is the Skytel 7 digit pin number for the WA Pager Module.<br />
4) Message Body - make body of the text only to be:<br />
:E(email account name)@(Your Email Address).com e.g. :Ejohn.doe@hotmail.com<br />
(Notice the "E" before your email address)<br />
Make sure the message format is 'Plain text' - NOT Rich Text (HTML). NO at the<br />
end of the body text (do not hit enter at the end of the line).<br />
The “E” can be in either upper or lower case. Any message beginning with a different character will<br />
first be scanned for an “at” sign (@), If this is found, the string will be treated as an e-mail address.<br />
Otherwise it is assumed to be a two-way pager and will be processed as such.<br />
Example:<br />
1111111 is the PIN number associated with the Adapter board inside of Meter 85 129 395<br />
You should receive a message back from the Meter that is similar to the following:<br />
