B. Installer: Company specializing in performing Work of this section with minimum five<br />

years experience.<br />

1.6 PRE-INSTALLATION MEETINGS<br />

A. Pre-installation meeting.<br />

a. Contractor shall attend a pre-installation meeting at the job site with all<br />

related contractors and trades on the job. At a minimum the following<br />

shall be addressed and coordinated:<br />

1) BAS wiring diagrams, work assignments and trade<br />

responsibilities.<br />

2) Chiller plant interface requirements, wiring diagrams, work<br />

assignments and trade responsibilities.<br />

3) 120VAC power requirements for any and all locations.<br />

4) Coordinate IP connection requirements with Owners IT<br />

department.<br />

5) Review campus, floor-plan, equipment and summary graphics<br />

and obtain approval of Owner and Engineer prior to assembling<br />

the final graphics package.<br />

6) Chemical treatment vendor to coordinate blow-down signal.<br />

7) Chiller Manufacturer: Coordinate chiller interface requirements<br />

and sequences of operation with chiller manufacturer.<br />

B. Convene prior to commencing work of this section.<br />

C. Keep meeting minutes and submit to Engineer of Record within 5 business days of<br />

meeting.<br />

1.7 FIELD MEASUREMENTS<br />

A. Verify field measurements prior to fabrication.<br />

1.8 MAINTENANCE SERVICE<br />

A. Furnish service and maintenance of control systems for one year from Date of Substantial<br />

Completion.<br />

B. Furnish two complete inspections per year, one in each season, to inspect, calibrate, and<br />

adjust controls. Submit written report after each inspection.<br />

C. Include systematic examination, adjustment, and lubrication of unit, and controls<br />

checkout and adjustments. Repair or replace parts in accordance with manufacturer's<br />

operating and maintenance data. Use parts produced by manufacturer of original<br />

equipment.<br />

D. Perform work without removing units from service during building normal occupied<br />

hours.<br />

E. Provide emergency call back service at all hours for this maintenance period.<br />
