1.12 MAINTENANCE MATERIALS<br />
A. Furnish all chemicals for treatment and testing during warranty period.<br />
PART 2 PRODUCTS<br />
2.1 SYSTEM CLEANER<br />
A. Product Description: Liquid alkaline compound with emulsifying agents and detergents<br />
to remove grease and petroleum products; sodium tri-Poly phosphate and sodium<br />
molybdate.<br />
B. Biocide; chlorine release agents including sodium hypochlorite or calcium hypochlorite,<br />
or microbiocides including quaternary ammonia compounds, tributyl tin oxide,<br />
methylene bis (thiocyanate), or isothiazolones.<br />
2.2 CLOSED SYSTEM TREATMENT (WATER)<br />
A. Sequestering agent to reduce deposits and adjust pH; polyphosphate.<br />
B. Corrosion inhibitors; liquid boron-nitrite, sodium nitrite and borax, sodium totyltriazole,<br />
low molecular weight polymers, phosphonates, sodium molybdate, or sulfites.<br />
C. Conductivity enhancers; phosphates or phosphonates.<br />
2.3 CONDENSER WATER SYSTEM TREATMENT (COOLING TOWERS)<br />
A. Sequestering agent to inhibit scaling; phosphonates, sodium polyphosphates, lignin<br />
derivatives, synthetic polymer polyelectrolytes, or organite phosphates.<br />
B. Acid to reduce alkalinity and pH; sulphuric acid.<br />
C. Corrosion inhibitor; zinc-phosphate, phosphonate-phosphate, phosphonate-molybdate<br />
and phosphonate-silicate, sodium totyltriazole, or low molecular weight polymers.<br />
D. Biocide; chlorine release agents including sodium hypochlorite or calcium hypochlorite,<br />
or microbiocides including quaternary ammonia compounds, tributyl tin oxide,<br />
methylene bis (thiocyanate), or isothiazolones.<br />
2.4 SOLUTION METERING PUMP<br />
A. Positive displacement, diaphragm pump with adjustable flow rate, thermoplastic<br />
construction, continuous-duty fully enclosed electric motor and drive, and built-in relief<br />
valve.<br />
B. Electrical Characteristics:<br />
1. 120 volts, single phase, 60 Hz.<br />
