At our spa resort we recognise the main role go the thermal water. After International Classification,
are among the thermal water, water with a temperature of 30 - 40 o Celsius.
Thermal effect improves blood circulation and metabolism, and exchange metabolites. Thermal-metabolic
effects due to improved blood circulation, reduce spasms and further increase
roughly strength of musculature. Thus we increase the functional capability of the locomotor
system and reduce patients’ problems, and thereby also reduce the psychological stress.
Hydrostatic pressure of water on body causes removal of body fluids from the extremities to
the body and accelerate the urine output. One hour of swimming in thermal water accelerate
the excretion of water by about 50%, hence the discharge of waste materials.
The psychological effect of treatment in the thermal water is a combination of rest and relaxation
effects of hydrotherapy. This results less sympathetic nervous system arousal and thus
greatly reduce of stress, soo anti-stress activity.
Peat and fango are representatives of organic and inorganic peloids. Peloids or humic substances
