every day and 80-degree sunshine daily . . .<br />

National Screen's Joe Rossi, back from his<br />

Mexican vacation, says that his top surprise<br />

and thrill were bumping into General<br />

Cinema's Irving Savor by the swimming<br />

pool at the hotel in Acapulco.<br />

Mel Safner, general manager of Ruff Associates,<br />

welcomed Hank Feinstein. vicepresident<br />

to Boston for a series of conferences with<br />

circuit heads and independent exhibitors.<br />

Mel is pretty high on Paragon's new thriller,<br />

"The Asphyx," due to be released nationally<br />

in the spring in key situations across the<br />

with the February school vacation demand<br />

for the company's releases, including "The<br />

at the Boston Paramount, "The Sword and<br />

the Stone," "Snowball Express" and several<br />

earlier releases. They say they expect to<br />

have a minimum of 150 theatres showing<br />

Disney films during the vacation period.<br />

manager here, and his wife Verna flew to<br />

Lisbon, Portugal, Monday (19) to start a<br />

two-week vacation. In Portugal they planned<br />

to rent a car for a trip down the coast<br />

through towns and fishing villages . . .<br />

Friends of Avco Embassy's Joe Wolfe are<br />

hoping to see him turn up at his desk one<br />

day soon. Joe now is at home, recuperating<br />

after four weeks in the Brockton IJospital.<br />
