in the boxoffice lineup here, as "Dirty Little
Billy" at the Coronet represented the only
new interest (and it opened to "excellent"
business). Also "excellent" were holdovers
"The Poseidon Adventure" at the Orpheum
and "The Getaway" at the Capitol. Most of
the other holdovers were just hanging in

CALGARY—Although two new films.
"Trouble Man" and "Wednesday's Child,"
ran into rugged going in their opening week
at local theatres, they were the exceptions
as most films on the city's playbill were
either "excellent" or "very good" grossers
for the week. "Deliverance," "Sounder,"
"The Poseidon Adventure" and "The Great
Waltz," each in its sixth week of playing
time here, were among the "excellent" business
pictures.

Odeon's units in this city, has been
given an unusual part-time policy on a
temporary basis because of troublesome
wintry conditions, although the ozoner is
equipped with in-car heaters for the comfort
of patrons. The Queensway is operating
